Product Description
The new Mini-SAS HD product portfolio. The product line meets the signal bandwidth requirements of 6 Gb / s to 12 Gb / s or the corresponding SAS 2.1 and proposed SAS 3.0 industry-standard signal specifications. The system also provides greater linear board port density (port-to-port 11 mm) than previous SAS interconnect systems (port-to-port linear port density of only 19.01 mm).
The Mini-SAS HD products have a nominal current value of up to 0.5A and a characteristic impedance of 100 + / - 15 ohms. They are RoHS-compliant.

The Mini-SAS HD products are fully compliant with industry specifications SFF-8643 (for internal applications) and SFF-8644 (for external applications).

Rugged metal cages and stamped metal EMI shielding shrapnel and cables in the external board connector system replace the defective EMC elastic gasket and provide a full 360 ° EMI shielding effect for each connector port. The crimp eyelet terminals on connectors and cages enable simple single-step crimping to ensure consistent application on the PCB. The strain relief of the external cable produces a tension of 20 lb or more. In addition, the locking structure on the external cable is designed to reduce the cable insertion force and eliminate any disconnection problems. The durability of the connector has been verified to be 250 cycles.
